Access and purpose

The tool requests Gmail gmail.readonly permission for the owner's Google account. This permission technically covers reading the mailbox. The program searches for notification emails from Freelancermap, verifies the sender authentication information and extracts the project title, client message, message identifier, received time and conversation reference.

It uses this data to translate incoming client messages into Ukrainian and deliver notifications to the owner's private Telegram chat. It does not send email, modify labels, mark email as read, delete email or reply to clients.

Translation and delivery

The extracted project title and client text are sent to the configured Gemini API. The translated text, title, received time, client name when present in the source, and a clean Freelancermap conversation link are sent through Telegram. Gemini and Telegram handle the transferred data under their respective terms and privacy policies.

Email template footers, attachment contents and links from the client message are excluded from translation. Recognized password and token patterns are redacted; automated redaction cannot recognize every possible confidential detail. One-time login links are not forwarded. The operator should use the tool only for messages they are permitted to process and share with these services.

Local storage and retention

The program stores extracted message text, translations, identifiers, delivery status and timestamps locally to avoid repeat notifications and recover from errors. These records remain until the owner removes them; there is no automatic retention deadline. OAuth credentials are stored separately in a private local credentials directory. Credentials are not included in translation requests, Telegram notifications or public pages.

Google stores the original email under the Google account's settings. Gemini and Telegram retention is governed by the selected accounts and their provider policies. The program does not control those providers' retention or data-use settings.

Owner controls

The owner can disable the reader, revoke its access in their Google account and remove local records. Removing delivery records can cause repeat notifications if the reader is enabled again. Revoking Google access stops future Gmail API reads; it does not automatically erase copies already stored locally or delivered to other services.
